It’s day eight, let’s talk about the view.
I will start from the beginning. I was born into a Cherubim and Seraphim family and growing up, we visit the bar beach every year back then.
I think that kind of install the love of water in me.
Fast forward years late. I spent most of my spare time, during my short stay in Unilag, at the lagoon front, staring at the water body.
Then in December 2017, a friend invited me to his mum’s beach house for the 2018 New Year celebration. I accepted with the intention of just spending a few hours only to end up spending three refreshing days.
That experience rekindled my love for water in spite of the fact that telephone network is terrible at this particular beach.
I came back from the beach on the 3rd and I think I resumed Techpoint fully the following day.
After an event that January, the Techpoint team was on a beach. And in 2018 alone, we went to the beach thrice and spent about 4 days at an hotel in Lagos in one of those times.
For me the love of staring at the body of water is exciting aside sharing that experience with people.

Then last year, I decided I was going to spend my annual leave at the beach. Eleven days at the beach, alone with my thoughts with no distraction. Interestingly, telephone network is still terrible there.
I ended up spending just seven days as I had to honour an earlier commitment. Those seven days, I was outside about 99% of the time as I only went indoor to change cloth.
During those days, I was under a short coconut tree during the day and in the night, I would just dragged my mat to a shed that’s just about 4 feet away.

Owning a beach house is one of the goals.
Taking about dreams, it would really be nice to spend the honeymoon close to a water body, if not on water 😉. Shey Bali has beaches na. A man can dream, right.
Someone that doesn’t have a love-life talking about honeymoon.
Till tomorrow.
