On the first day of this one-post a day challenge, I wrote about the knowledge-sharing session we had at the office about maintaining a work-life balance.
In that post I listed only three items but there’s more aside from keeping fit, going out more and populating my blog.
About going out more, I still don’t know how but I’ve started taking myself out at least once a month since late last year. There’s the ‘meeting new people’ part which isn’t really my strong suit.
This locked down period is my life on a regular weekend except if I have a party to attend. There are weekends that I don’t step out of my apartment at all.
I just seat around all day, watching movies, playing games, and maybe take vodka or wine which I always try not to run out of.
Moving on, I have since added more items to the list of things I want to do outside work. One of it is getting a life and I really can’t emphasize it enough. I still don’t know how I’m going to do it. Just waiting for this coro period to be over, and soon.
Beyond getting a life, I want to top it with getting a love life, if I can. I haven’t really had much luck in that field 🤦♂️. Wait, I still have that letter to my next girlfriend which I never publish.
I was adding other items then I realised that they are best suited in my bucket list as I was going big.
One of such items is to go skydiving, I did some Googling and I found a company offering the service in Nigeria. I still don’t know how I’m going to go about this one as well.
I also want to learn boxing, lose one or two teeth or none in the process. I want to visit not less than 3 UNESCO heritage sites. It’s a long list and that’s for premium subscribers only 😉.
