It’s my birthday. Coincidentally, it’s also my twin nieces’ birthday as well as my guy’s wife’s.

For me, it’s just another day except for the loads of attention, which I really appreciate. I woke up and as usually my cousin was the first to call aside from text messages from a couple of banks.

I was supposed to work remotely today but couldn’t as I have a meeting with respect to the upcoming Techpoint Build 2020. I woke up 5 minutes before the usual time, 6:00am.

I entered the office around 8:30am and my work family started throwing birthday greetings at me. Titi came in and started singing from the moment she saw me. Precious and others joined her in singing a birthday song.

I settled in for breakfast and had bean cake with tea.

Some minutes after my food, a couple of my colleagues and I headed for the meeting. Two heads, they say, are better than one.

We finished the meeting and headed back to the office. On getting back to the office, I was trying to arrange something on the event timeline when I got a call from a friend reminding me of an emergency I needed to sort out at the bank.

I headed to the bank but couldn’t get back until around 4pm which is why I try as much as possible to avoid going into the banking hall. Aside from today, I haven’t entered a banking hall in a couple of months. The closiest I’ve been to entering a banking hall is using the ATMs.

Back to my day, I got back and resumed working on the timeline. After that, Sir White did a trailer video of me featuring Titi, Chidinma, Bisola and Lafresh.

I waited behind to participate in the March edition of Techpoint Pitch Friday, an informal pitching event where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas or business for feedbacks and comments.

At about 6:20pm, I remembered that I have a 4-6hour commitment at the office tomorrow, Saturday. I told myself, I needed rest. I left the office immediately but didn’t get home until 8:40pm.

I had picked up watermelon on my way home because trying to cook on getting home would be suicidal.

In most cases, this is usually my normal day except spending more time on the system and maybe leaving the office a little earlier or later.

By the way, Victor dropped by and gave me a bottle of drink. Thanks again, boss.

All day, my phone keep buzzing with calls.

Just a little over an hour until I resume my boring life, going a whole day without making a single phone call atimes. Except now, I have an event to plan which means phone calls would definitely hit the roof 🤦‍♂️.

By the way, I only got one gift. I think I need to start relating with new sets of people o.

But then, the shower of love was awesome and you all know I love you 😘.
