Earlier in the month, I pointed out that I have a day job besides my day job. So, this is it.

Yeah, I’m an editor at Techpoint and I’m also in charge of the Nigerian Startup Funding Report. That’s my source of income: my day job.

Well, I have another day job which is not really paying me but it will forever be my number one day job:

Living my life, my own way.

That right there is my day job. I don’t do rules or standards. My ex would say “you no dey shame.”

Well, I don’t and I won’t do things what would warrant it. I just want to be free.

I do whatever I want to do without considering what people would say. So far what I’m doing won’t affect the other person in any way.

If you have been following my rant, you know beach is one of my favourite place. I wrote about how Titilola and myself launched our modeling career while on a company retreat in Ghana.

After the career launch, we headed to the beach that day. We got there but I wasn’t going to sit around when I’m seeing that body of water 😍.

I didn’t think twice before pulling off my knicker and shirt in spite of wearing a tight boxers short or is it briefs you people call it.

My friend saw the picture and asked if I was the only one at the beach. Well, I wasn’t at the beach to impress anyone. We were there to relax and I did all I could to do so.

I do my things to please me. In 2018, a friend of mine was getting married and there was the normal aso ebi.

I sewn a pair of pant trousers with mine and I rocked it with a short sleeve shirt and a cap. Coincidentally, a former course mate that I use to have a crush on attended the same party.

That day marked the end of the ‘crushing.’ She said my dressing wasn’t presentable. What! Au revoir.

Five years in the university and I never for once wear trousers within the school premises except during my final year project defence. I was always in short.

It made me feel relaxed and free. I had a female friend in school back then, she complained about the fact that she didn’t like it from year one till year three when she finally gave up complaining 🙃.

I just want to be happy and I try to always do what would at least guarantee that. I want to go on and on but this post is long enough already 😉.
